Composer Hirokazu Hiraishi gained experience through his long years of working as an arranger, copyist,
and studio conducter, mainly in the popular and commercial fields.

He has created a diverse range of compositions for orchestra, chamber ensemble and solo instrumentalists.

His electronic and computer music have come to be regarded as among the finest works of new music
being composed in Japan today.

Mr.Hiraishi's unusual composistional technique is built upon a repetitive sequence of events, starting
from a simple beginning and gradually becoming more complex.

He recently has begun to develop a series of new collaborative performance pices in association with
dancers and installation artists, and another series spacial music performance.
